How do I download stuff?

You can download the files indexed on our site only via Bittorrent, a peer-to-peer filesharing network. If you've got no experience with Bittorrent whatsoever, read the relevant Sticky in our Bittorrent Forum. If that doesn't help, feel free to ask any question there.

Your site rules! Can I help out?

The best way to help the site is by uploading new torrents. So if you come across anything that suits our profile, post it to the index (no matter if you seed it yourself or take stuff from other torrent sites).

As a second thing, consider donating. We've got to pay for the domain, support our webhost and Open Source projects we depend on.

If you seriously want to get involved in the project, email us (mailto:recruitingoffice@chomskytorrents.org) or post in the feedback section. We're constantly short of developers (PHP, SQL), so if you've got skills in that area and some spare time, please let us know.

I think what you do is illegal and hurts artists or something - can I make them put your asses in jail?

No. None of the files we're talking about are actually provided for download from the site. We merely host metadata submitted by users that people can use for sharing files.

I registered an account on the main page, why can't I log in at the forums?

As of now, the user databases for main page and forums are separate. You'll have to register two accounts.
