Has anyone seen the documentary about Howard Zinn? (You Can't Be Neutral On A Moving Train) It's supposed to be real good and I would love to check it!

I saw it in the theatre. It's basically a biography. He talks about his upbringing and education, and how his experiences made him realize the class structure of America. I haven't seen a torrent for it yet, and most video stores don't seem to have this one.

As far as I can tell, it is not released anywhere online. I will be getting it soon though, probably in the next 2 weeks.

I was able to download and watch it a while ago through conspiracy central tracker. It had no dvd-extras though. I know that one of the extras is Howard Zinn's Must Read Book List or something. Can someone post that list here so i don't have to download the movie again to see it? Thanx yall!

the must read book list is not included in the extras (as the post in the torrent section states). i bet you could find similar list online though. if you're lucky, he replies to emails (like chomsky), and you could write him.

i saw a list like that in one of his books, just get the Zinn Reader, it's worth the money and it has a page of books he recommends at the end.

I would echo the recommendations for the Zinn Reader. I have also read Hugh Brogan's book and found it to be dry but very well put together. The Zinn book is one of the books that, as i look back on my life, i truly cherish posessing the knowledge it contains. Eye opening perspective and striking facts that high school textbooks would be banned in alabama and wisconson for publishing.

Please, even if it isn't your choice for your current "project" do not miss the Zinn Reader.
