hi to everyone

i need some good scans of USD banknotes... i thought i could get them easy by google but that ain't the case.
these scans will be used to produce a "fine arts work" if you may call it. anyway... i'm european and it's not that easy to get the currency here without loosing money so if someone could send me scans i would aprecciate it.

the best would be to scan them with 300dpi or more, in color mode cause later to print in large formats it wouldn't have enough quality.

by the way i know that here in europe there are some laws about scanning cash. they say we gotta put "specimen" on the banknote and blah blah but i think that's in case u want to post them online.

if there's anyone with patience enough to do me this favour please say something. PM me or something if you don't want to reply to the forum topic.

WikiMedia Commons has high quality scans of the 100 dollar bill (and others). Some are of an older series so no pink color, or other crazy watermarks are used. These scans are not stamped with SPECIMEN (EDIT: SOME ARE AND SOME AREN'T). Make sure you click Full Resolution http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/United_States_dollar

US bills are public domain (according to wikipedia) so anyone can distribute worthless pieces of paper In fact loc.gov links to the same wikipedia page that links to the $100 bill high quality scan.

hey thanks a lot, i actually had those ones with the high res, but the ones with specimen on them aren't good enough for any use.
