Noam Chomsky 2011 05 11 Lecture

This is the audio of a Noam Chomsky lecture entitled "What Drives U.S. Foreign Policy" given on 2011.05.11 at Nottingham High School, Syracuse NY. I had been wondering what Dr. Chomsky had been saying lately so I looked on YouTube and found a video of this lecture posted the day after it occurred. This torrent is the audio only of his presentation and the following Q&A session. Program introduction, other speakers and non-Chomsky periods have been edited out. Additionally, background noise (static, tape hiss, etc.) and other poor sound qualities of the original video have been filtered and/or removed. Included are sample files which show the "before and after" of the filtering process.
