The Government Inspector

"The Government Inspector" is a TV docu-drama aired in the UK in Sept 2004 about the government scientist Dr David Kelly who was a weapons inspector and visited Iraq on several occasions. He was humiliated in public by the Blair government during investiagtions in to why Blair tricked Britain into attacking Iraq in 2003. Dr Kelly later (alledgedly) commited suicide because of the media and government pressure he was under. The drama exposes the Blair government's deceitfulness surrounding the supposed weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and the build up to the attack in on Iraq in March 2003. The drama has actors playing most of the notable characters, such as Dr Kelly, Tony Blair and his slimy aid, Alistair Campbell, and it interperses the acting scenes with actual news footage. The well-known, excellent Shakespearean actor, Mark Rylance, plays Doctor Kelly.
