Incredible Talk by RFK Jr.
He covers Energy Issues, Corporate Stranglehold on Democracy in the US; the Citizens United Ruling. He talks about California's Energy Policies that have them using half the kilowatts as the National Average; creating incentives for Business to do the right thing, not subsidise the status quo.
Watch here too:
If you watch nothing else, from about 39:00 and the following 5 minutes or so. and the last few minutes. Incredible.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

yes, please sign the petition.....so THEY WILL FUCKING KILL HIM ...lol
fuck corporatism. fuck capitalism. fuck rfk jr for thinking he can manipulate "business" to his ends without tackling the heart of the issue, the perpetual greed that manifests itself on an individual basis, handed down from generation to generation of born rich assholes (like himself).

He seems like he might be an anarchist. He's been arrested twice. Each time showing clear tendencies to think and act as an individual.

1983
In 1983, he was arrested in a Rapid City, South Dakota, airport for heroin possession. A search of his carry-on bag uncovered 183 milligrams of the drug.[4] Upon entering a plea of guilty, Kennedy, then 29 years old and a first time offender, was sentenced to two years probation, periodic tests for drug use, treatment by joining Narcotics Anonymous, and 1,500 hours of community service by Presiding Judge Marshall P. Young.[4] After the court was satisfied with Kennedy's compliance with the sentence, it ordered that Kennedy's record regarding the offense was to be sealed and expunged.
[edit] 2001
In April 2001, Kennedy was arrested for trespassing at Camp Garcia, the United States Navy training facility on the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico. Kennedy and others were protesting the use of a small section of the island for training. The trespassing incident forced the suspension of live-fire exercises for almost 3 hours. Despite the best efforts of his counsel, former Governor of New York Mario Cuomo, on July 18, 2001, Kennedy was sentenced to 30 days in jail by Judge Hector Laffitte.

Well, he could be the president and even do reasonable policies, if only there would be functioning democracy in the US. I'd say Obama could be ok if he'd be responsible to the people and not to corporations, Wallstreet, money or whatever. It is the institutions, not the individuals, that suck.

Resolution Calling to Amend the Constitution Banning Corporate Personhood Introduced in Vermont
On the anniversary of the Citizens United decision, Vermont politicians are moving to deny corporations the rights that humans enjoy.
January 22, 2011 |
A year ago today, the Supreme Court issued its bizarre Citizens United decision, allowing unlimited corporate spending in elections as a form of “free speech” for the corporate “person.” Justice John Paul Stevens, writing for the dissent, had the task of recalling the majority to planet earth and basic common sense.
"Corporations have no consciences, no beliefs, no feelings, no thoughts, no desires," wrote Stevens. "Corporations help structure and facilitate the activities of human beings, to be sure, and their 'personhood' often serves as a useful legal fiction. But they are not themselves members of 'We the People' by whom and for whom our Constitution was established."........

Thank you Loninappleton,
Yes I know about what you speak there is one seeder I can get at a very slow rate (less than 1kB/s which would take about 13 days to download).
Barring any fast seeders coming in soon I have found a different way to get this remarkable speech from RFK Jr. Here is how to get the full resolution 993MB mp4 file w/o going thru this torrent:
Step 1: Copy the youtube URL for the video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKDghU2bzQQ
Step 2: Goto the site keepvid.com
Step 3: paste the youtube url from step 1 into the box marked "Enter video URL or Search here"
Step 4: Click on the download button
Step 5: After a few seconds you will see the following:

Step 7: It took me about 1 hour to d/l the 993mb file, (your mileage may vary depending on your broadband speed)
Step 8: specify the location to save the video file to your local system.
Step 9: Watch the Video and Share it!

Sort of complicated but a good tip.
I'm all for making torrents as small as possible rather as big as can be. Perhaps AutoGK can get it smaller but I cannot recall at the moment if it works on mp4's.
Word: my "mileage" is really slow.
