Saw this elsewhere and am getting it now.
This ties in with a recent book by Owen Jones called CHAVS: the demonization of the working class."
It's a new book and very good for this reason: the parallels between Britain and the US on every point discussed is startling. I read the whole text and could identify with each element in the US even though all the societal references are to Britain.
Adam Curtis also has some material on the riots from the Thatcher days-- Thatcher/Reagan get a lot of references in this.

The documentary is an an important political statement even if you do not favor confrontational action. It's more than pics of burning cars. The creator shows how the situation developed.
