"Best known for books like Manufacturing Consent"
-WTF??? Oh well I guess effectively inventing a new kind of linguistics, not to mention sparking the cognitive revolution, doesn't count for much these days?

Thanks tho'.

Hard cores from the the days when OBT was called Chomsky Torrents. Don't mind 'em.

Tx for participating.

I kind of miss those days. Although we had some loons in the forum then, at least it was active with lots of discussion. Now it's effectively dead Sad

Slavoj Zizek: don't get me started. Wink

There have been some discussions but I never go into forums-- the talk usually comes at the torrent.

I have a torrent farm going 24/7 with Adam Curtis (all series) and a variety of other things. I think "The Book That Shook The World" should have changed the world by now but my up bandwidth is like 40kbps/sec. More people have to adopt one torrent or two for life and keep them going.
