If you have to have it explained to you, you don't really get it.

GET IT?

Here in Appleton WI US we have only a few members. Tooleman, you are right.

And in point of fact, where is the ballerina that goes with the Ad Busters picture above?

Here is an anecdote I'd like to tell.

The local Occupy group put together a regular night for teach-ins at the library (Mondays each week.)

The first teach-in was (I was told) to be about the history of protest. It wasn't. The professional "explainer" with a lot of academic and legal cred droned on about how government debt works. The example was the ever-popular Jack and Beanstalk story.

Oh well.

Afterward during discussion one of the young members asked about doing a session on the history of movements. Between the two of us I flashed the dvd copy of "Winstanley". (Winstanley is on here as torrent at OBT.)

On the way out I showed him the dvd and said a little about the Diggers in 1646 and how that led to the doctrine of The Commons.

This was my contribution and I felt good about it even though I don't have more degrees than a thermometer.

The point is: Occupy could become dazzled by a bunch of distractions.

The cover of the Winstanley dvd carries the legend:

"The Revolution Starts Here." And it did.
