Excellent question. CD size, seriously? Who burns these to CDs?
Also, using better codec one could half the size without losing any quality. Even though this is a movie, I would be happy with stereo audio and slightly inferior quality. It would save hugely electricity, time and infrastructure. Of course I am not paying for servers, cables and satellites but still. This is a serious free rider problem wasting bandwidth. Maybe blueray disc size is the norm soon?
