Talk given at the Miller Theater, Columbia University, Feb. 5, 2007. The talk was preceded by a video of Harold Pinter's Nobel acceptance speech in which he bitterly criticizes US policies. Links to view that speech can be found here: http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/literature/laureates/2005/pinter-lecture.html
Instead of giving a lecture, Noam just answered questions from the audience. The recording here starts out with Noam quoting a NY Times article about Pinter, then begins the Q&A.
He talks about a recent article by Ben Kiernan on the bombing of Cambodia, which reported newly discovered information showing that the bombing started about 5 years earlier than had been previously known. Noam also answers questions about Iran, Guantanamo, South America, and neo Liberal globalization.
The duration is about 35 minutes, because apparently Noam had another engagement. The file is about 8MB, Windows media audio (.WMA), not great quality, recorded from the audience, but the words are clear enough.
