From babblefish:
"Statement by Peter Watkins in the introduction to his film "La Commune" (PARIS 1871), and in the film version of 3:30 to about 13 production company Lagardère ...!
"[...] The consequences for our societies and obscure the vast financial networks, such as Lagardère and other multinationals are absolutely terrifying, especially because of the total lack of transparency surrounding it. How can we say that we live in a democracy and how can we speak of true citizenship while we have no idea what is being done in our name, as we know nothing of the relationship between us, individuals, societies for we work with, and multinationals responsible among other things, the arms race ... @teledirecte, I'll be viewing this soon.
Over time I have torrented both Peter Watkins work and that of Kevin Brownlow-- specifically a DVDrip of "Winstanley" and "It Happened Here." It is real independent filmmaking.
Watkins Coloden should be seen by all. And Brownlow's "Winstanley" presages the Occupy movement by 400 years. It's about The Diggers in Britain claiming and planting on lands claimed by royalty. In the hippy days the name The Diggers was taken up by some communards in that time. But Gerard Winstanley did it first.
Unfortunately there is some program error at OBT where I can no longer upload so I have used others such as Demonoid and now ExtraTorrents. But I still can get things submitted to OBT.
