Filmed from the 2nd to the 11th of October 2002, this documentary narrates the origins and the actuality of the process of social and political transformation in Venezuela. It explores the underlining motives for the failed coup of 11th April 2002 and the ensuing popular reaction that reinstated the Constitutional Government in the country. Venezuela represents today the only country where a democratically elected government has chosen an autonomous path, away from the dogma of globalisation and neo-liberalism and chosen instead to further the interests of its people starting from the weakest sections of society. The film is a vigorous and moving tribute to the political consciousness and the determination to defend democracy justice and peace of the people of Venezuela. It tells the story of a different world which is not just POSSIBLE but EXISTS in reality.
