What governments do is REGULATE. For example where
government ENFORCES an open and fair, level "playing field", market there prices are mmuuuucch lower... and whereever Government sits on its hands, monopolies are created and prices rise.. and UNIONs are killed.

Milton Friedmans message is all about freedom. Human and economic freedom. Don't take my word for it or some search engine. Watch the documentary and decide for yourself.

BTW, Friedman addresses Chile directly in "1980 Vol 5 Created Equal" during the debate segment. Have a listen to what he has to say about freedom in Chile.
