I remember Bill Cooper. I read his book, Behold a Pale Horse a long time ago, before the internet was big. He turned out to be a weirdo Christian New World Order guy. He was a right wing nut job.

The scary thing is that these types of "criticisms", except for the y2k fear mongering, are that Alex Jones is not enough of a conspiracy theorist for some people (especially with the "Jews run the world" crowd).

I think if you worship Alex Jones (or anyone else for that matter) you have some issues. I disagree with a number of issues he supports (anti-choice, absolute 2nd amendment rights are two big ones) but he does do a great job at covering Imperial American Foreign Policy as well as corporate crimes.He has had some great libertarians (left and right) on his show and I think he is a sincere libertarian, despite his flaws.

Make up your own mind.

I think Alex Jones does do some amazing things. His point of view is generally confusing, but he is a wealth of information. Like any other source the issues he reports need to be corroborated by other sources but I find his websites and dvds to be very useful.

I was most interested in Alex Jones documentary recording of the Bilberger meetings, the bilberger guest list, his sources and the local ignorance of people where the meetings take place. Coming to your town next perhaps?

Jones is huge on border control issues. He blames much on the Mexican workers. I have been first hand witness to his turning down of revelatory information, things that I also have first hand knowledge of so I can know that he is either ignorant or ignores the truth deliberately.

He claims to have infiltrated Bohemian Grove. This is the item I said I have first hand knowledge of, having lived in Monte Rio and had other deep contacts whom I will not name for fear of reprisal. I can tell you unequivocally that no one infiltrates Bohemian Grove without some serious Special Forces training. He is not just another Texas good old boy - he was obviously let in and probably by the Bush's themselves.

I can tell you that I was in contact with William Cooper in his last weeks and he showed all the signs of someone under intense harassment. I know them well.

Local police showed up at Cooper's house at around midnight, according to them, and initiated a disturbance in the scrub outside his home in the White Mountains of Arizona so as to lure him outside for an arrest over a firearms technicality and not a big one. This is a man that declared publicly that the NWO would never take him alive and the knew this so they created an unidentifiable ruckus outside his home in the middle of the night. I call that provoking a violent reaction. No police were shot but Cooper was shot dead, quite obviously according to plan.

I was involved with the research that illuminated the importance of the NRO's payload that was rocketed into space a few days before 9/11. This top secret payload was put into orbit on September 8. On September 11, space stations and space command centers around the world experienced intense disruption but the remote control piggyback fiasco succeeded finely, something that requires clear and uninterrupted over the horizon signaling. Cooper knew this and in the wake of his death, all entries from his newswire from September 8 to September 11th were removed by someone.

Jones is a nut by design. Cooper got nutty over time due to justified paranoia.

With regard to what Jones' is, I suggest the following poignant quote:

Dickheads all - ALex Jones speaks the truth and he knows what is coming - you should all go back to your crap and delusions and let the man speak the truth.

Way to avoid any of the actualy criticisms and just plug your ears and repeat your mantras of loyalty. Sling a little turd like a monkey with the word "dickhead." Your rebuttal is oh so convincing.

I'm betting I am the only one at this url that has interacted with both men at all, not to mention Jones' online minions.

Here's a little hint: between two people with opposing viewpoints, the one that has actual experience with said subjects is far less likely to simply be delusional.

That's one of the problems with the internet; there is so much information out there that one can find validation for one's own beliefs no matter what they are, proof if you will.

Absent of any real rebuttal, this will be my last post on this matter here. I have far better things to do, and the truth is not served by, engaging people with pseudo-arguments.

Alex Jones actually reported, on December 31, 1999, that the world was in chaos and that war was breaking out all over and the national guard had just entered Austin, Texas and was taking over (but Jones was allowed to broadcast), that all the Y2K fears were in the midst of manifesting, yada yada yada.

He was not trying to pull a War on the Worlds Kaufmanesque parody. He was deliberately spreading lies. You can find it at Youtube.
