Beyond the Walls (Israel-Palestine, 1984) - Repost with more trackers

This fictional film, made in Israel (occupied Palestine), portrays the dynamic of cooperation and conflict between (mostly political) Palestinian prisoners and (mostly "criminal") Israeli Jewish prisoners in an Israeli prison. Although it focuses more on the Jewish prisoners, and was clearly made for a Hebrew-speaking audience, it doesn't denigrate the Arab prisoners or their political motivations.

This film was directed by Uri Barbash, who also directed the 1994 TV miniseries, The Kastner Trial, which I have also uploaded here
