In this compelling film, Yuschenko's doctors, former KGB agents
and toxicologists reveal how and why he was poisoned and what it has
done to his body. ‘Poisoned’ gets the inside story from Yuschenko's
Chief of Security who was with him all the way through the poisoning
crisis.

The film puts the Yuschenko case in context by looking at how poison
has always been used as a political tool in the Soviet Block - from
Rasputin to KGB assassinations and Russian secret service plots on
our own doorstep.  "Poisoned" talks to former KGB officers who have
now publicly admitted to Soviet involvement in a number of
poisonings over the last 30 years.
