a lot of noam's talks are available only online through streaming (usually realmedia) sources. this makes them quite unreliable and inefficient, depending on a downloader's network, and the server's reliability and duration of file retention, and a complete waste of internet for a piece of data which isn't even a live broadcast. so, i've been using various stream rip utils to rectify this problem, and here is one of my results. there is some a/v desync throughout the video, apparently an unavoidable result of the stream rip programs, but it's still watchable. talk covers some linguistics as well as the usual US foreign policy stuff, and includes Q&A.
