When is the last time you hear Bill Moyers say ANYTHING positive about the U.S.A.? I am required to pay the socialists at PBS via my taxes (last year $400,000,000+)so they can rant and rave about how awful this country is. If you all love socialism so much that you want to change my country why not move to Cuba or North Korea, it's already there, no hassles. But you will not because you goal is not to live in a socialist society, but to destroy this Capitalist land.

As far as funding socialist causes, it seems the right have no problem using your tax $$$, and trillions of them, to fund a "war" whose only benefit is the oil companies and corporate org. Corpoerate welfare is OK with them, but something resembling a Healthcare plan, well the GOP call that socialism. Please do not quote the racist Winston Churchill to try snd prove a point. The words "conservative" and "liberal" are understood differently in Britain and other parts of Europe than they are here. In the USA, conservative is analogous to White Anglo-Saxon preservation/domination, so-called Christian & family values, blind patriotism, military dominance, imperialism and instead of so-called "big government" power is shuffled to private power which in turn then exerts quite a big influence on the government to push its views and wants.I do not associate myself with any party be it Conservative, Liberal, Socialist, Communist,Anarchist, Green, etc. Bill Moyers show is a good thing because its an opposing viewpoint thats not heard on corporate media. Is NBC gonna tell you about nuclear waste and dangers?-No because GE owns them- I can go on and on. I don't understand...CNN,FOX,NBC,CBS and any other major "News" company has nothing but good things to say about the USA,its economy,the War,laws,issues,etc. yet the world is real and things are not so cracked up to be here in the USA as they make it seem. They and their even bigger owners get huge tax breaks, which us working people bear the brunt down the line. I don't hear you complaining about their corporate welfare or the recent Bear Stearns bailout. That must be fine by you because I bet its the "Good Ol American Way...good ol capitalism at its finest" Instead, you're happy with the taxes you pay so Lockheed,Haliburton,Blackwater or whoever can get bigger contracts. I guess thats paying for the "defense of my country"(which I am being required to pay) in an illegal war to decimate and scatter almost an entire population that had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11.

Capitalism is an exploitative system and right now as always is steeped in class warfare-just ask Paul Krugman, he's a respected economist who writes for the NYT. Also, tell that to all the millions or billions of people living in poverty, here and around the world thanks to so the called "Free Market/Trade" and Globalization. People don't want to destroy Capitalism but they want to make sure they get a fair shot and a piece of the pie not just the crumbs.

As for the billions in the world, where can they work if jobs are scarce or conditions in their country are terrible? Go to Darfur and ask them why they can't work. The USA supports the dictators in these 3rd world countries to protect the U.S. and its client's interests(corporations), they can give a shit on how the people are treated. Coca Cola, Ford loved doing with business with the Germans even though we were at war. Truman liked Stalin even though he killed thousands of people. Ask the thousands that died under Suharto's reign in Indonesia or the disappeared in Chile under Pinochet. They were supported by the good ol USA and its interests. What I've learned from this site and other sites in the last year has been eye-opening. I always thought America was the land of the free and most of all impartial opinion. I realized I couldn't be fartehr from the truth. One needs to examine whose interests are behind the media to understand the content of the commentary. So now I know to my chagrin, America is really no different than those so-called not-so-free countries.

It is really important to draw your news from other sources, because unfortunately our media are covering their asses.

Given these inabilities it is best that you live in what Obama or Hillary would like to see this Nation turned to. That is one where all you children who can not, or will not care for yourselves, look to them and the rest of the "Party" for every need they have.
