Privilege is a British film directed by Peter Watkins. It was released in 1967 being produced by John Heyman. The story is set in the near future of the 1970s and concerns a disillusioned pop singer, played by Paul Jones, who is manipulated by the church and state which seek to turn him into a messianic leader.

I think about this piece quite often over time.
I'll snag it. But I don't know if it belongs on OBT.
I have a torrent I want to make on the musical Spring Awakening. I think that is worthwhile too and
the original play was banned in it's time.
