Why do people say: "We are not anti-Semitic" You don't have to justify yourself for having an opinion, jews don't have special right. They are equal, we live in a free and equal society. If you make fun or criticize capatalism/communism, are you giong to excuse yourself for having a opinion that might offend certain people, NO.

We just want to make clear we are not against Israel or Israeli's. And since the anti-Semite card is always the first one pulled from the deck, we mention we are not against Israel or jewish people. Because we are definately not.

Without a doubt, whoever posted this is an anti-semite. How, otherwise, can you explain the "zeal" that ultra left wing sites display when it comes to Israeli topics while showing nominal concern for the Berbers, Kruds, and Chaldeans that are under the yoke of Arabs rule? This double standard is unconscionable to the point of racism. Even if you believe that you don't hate jews, at least subconsciously you do. If you think that you transcended your parents or grandparents hate then you are deluding yourself.

i wouldn't expect less, the Israeli lobby is back here in full force. The concern of Kurds and all other people under occupation (or other forms of oppression) should be with the people of the country where they can make a change, I am an Israeli (supposedly born Jew) and as such i care for the country I live in and the actions of the government to whom i pay my taxes. I suggest you do the same.

Jews bought the lands lawfully from muslim and christian landlords. But when the arabs appealed to the Ottoman overlords to block land sale to jews nobody called that racism, then and now. Colonial rulers? in your circle of friends that could mean anybody--even israelis.

What ideology? I look at this conflict in the context of history and conclude that Arabs have no rights in a conflict that was created by them.

I ask you this: what right did the arabs have to block jewish land purchase and attack immigrants to palestine? what right did they have to massacre jewish communes? what claim do they have to reparations when their racist and aggressive action created their refugee problem.

In my opinion is that their own leaders do not give a rat's ass about them. otherwise this would have been resolved a long time ago. They're proficient in the use of propaganda war (and I can see that you are prone to it.

If you're really israeli, you don't have to convince any other one that Israel should leave the west bank. The vast majority wish to leave. But the question remains: Can you trust a nation that was contrived as a countermeasure against Zionism? From all the material i've read about the issue (Benny Morris included) I just dont see how the arabs will ever let this go unless there is concerted effort on the part of the international community to put pressure on them to stop. But still, arabs are guided by vendetta and retribution. It's impossible for a western nation to reconcile with an arab state, which is european notion forced on them to begin with. Unless they are fat and happy on oil.

But why should they? Israel is an easy way for them to feel good about themselves. A group with no numerical threat to the world with a cultural background not shared by almost anybody else. People need to hate. Jews were a perfect whipping boy for the them when they were guests in europe and other ME countries and now when they have their own country.

I care for your thoughts and Ideas, I wouldn't have bothered writing or reading this, one can just download the file and move on.
"The vast majority wish to leave", I really hope you are correct, but the facts here are very different, more settlements are being built and the notion of pulling troops or settlers off the west bank is not even raise.
I also believe that: "arabs are guided by vendetta" and "Jews were a perfect whipping boy for them" are what i read and hear here on a daily basis, and If you bother to read the media on the other side (Lebanon, Palestinian...) you find exactly the same things said about us. The Palestinians are an easy target and we are far more powerful in more ways then one. Who out of the two sides are speaking the truth, I'm not sure, I do know that this kind of words are the ones who are rolling this snowball of hate.
To me, we Israelis are partly Arabs, alot of our culture is Arabic, most of the families who have been living here before 1940s can speak the language and remember times where jews and arabs lived side by side.
Only when we accept the mistakes made on our behalf, and start looking at the other side as human beings will we be able to move towards better times.
