These torrents are given in very compact size for easy download.

This series by Adam curtis is about finance.  The descriptions
are not made to be thorough as this material is available
widely.

The series is being seeded on OBT because other trackers may be taken
down.  Also I've seen much larger size torrents of this same
series.  I've generated this torrent for speed, not quality of image.

Followers of Adam Curtis' others works such as The Power of Nightmares
will want to see this series as well.

  Adam Curtis' work deals with fear and control.  In The Century of the
Self he explored how the nephew of Sigmund Freud, Edward Bernays, used
Freudian principles to manipulate the hidden fears and desires of the
consumers of mass media.

  The images used by Curtis are very often from stock footage to convey
a point.  The films are lectures with pictures (pictures where copyright is not an issue is
my guess.)  These blend with the interviews which comprise the original
content of Curtis' research.

  The importance of Curtis' work cannot be underestimated.  Power Of
Nightmares was shown at the Tribeca Film Festival of 2006.  The content has not been
released on dvd media nor is it available to any extent in the US other than as torrents.

An interview with Adam Curtis averred that what Curtis does is give the
'secret history of the 20th Century.'  In this I agree.  History in the
films of Adam Curtis give a perspective unique in the world of
documentarians

   The Mayfair set is one of the hardest of the Adam Curtis series
to find regularly.  Please reseed for as long as possible.
