1953 collaborative film directed by Alain Resnais and Chris Marker. Banned for 10 years in France, from 1953 to 1963. It's available as a short documentary which works as a film-essay, commenting on "black art". Its critique of colonialism and racism made it one of the most important documents of the anti-colonialist struggle. Its themes also include: art and society, museums, sports, racial politics and violence.
