An old Freedom Press booklet that gives a very precise and accurate summary of anarchism. A lot of plain language and popular questions/misperceptions eloquently answered. Quite a few short texts by folks like Malatesta, Kropotkin and Charlotte Wilson that are wonderful but almost impossible to find these days.

Donald Rooum is perhaps best known for his Wildcat cartoons appearing in Freedom. Donald has written a good introduction to anarchism, briefly covering the many aspects of anarchist theory and practice. The second part of the book contains brief essays by several well known anarchist writers. Highly recommended as an introductory text.
