This is a higher-quality rip of the same documentary that has been uploaded here several times before. The following notes, except as modified to describe this new rip, are copied from the notes by loninappleton for torrent #4110: Title: Signals Through The Flames Source: Mystic Fire Video Picture Quality: Decent. This rip is from a DVD-copy of a VHS tape. Signals Through The Flames documents the Living Theater of Julian Beck and Judith Melina. It is the story of political action expressed through experimental theater and is for those archival purposes of theater history and lessons from the movement. The original VHS is out of print. Mystic Fire has not duplicated the film to dvd. Please contact them if you think this work is worth preserving for a new generation of theater experimenters. A few copies of the VHS exist but they are difficult to find. Julian Beck died in 1985 of stomach cancer. Judith Melina continues to work as an actress. The Living Theater maintains a website and is actively producing new works: http://www.livingtheatre.org/ Notes updated October 20, 2008

yes the quality on this one is good.

You should upload it now to a major torrent site like Mininova and Demonoid.

I'm not into doing it myself, but feel free to upload this anywhere you like.

Well the torrent is seeded by you and so at Mininova etc. it finds out where the content is by locating your torrent file. It's no different that doing it here.

Mininova -> upload > browse for your torrent file ->
add in the description, movie and category boxes and boom: 5 seconds of fame amidst the repetitious torrents of High School Music 3 etc.

Wink

But what it does is get a much wider audience for the content broadcast to the world.

Over time, I've learned that seeding at a major tracker
and *then* bringing the torrent in here will get the seed made much faster. And then add it to Mininova.

Demonoid has worked for me.

These sources I use because they are reliable and have good user feedback on here and Mininova
