Sometimes you think you are the first person to think of an idea but these folks were way ahead of me. Some of the concepts in my next film END:CIV are presented in Testify by Michael Becker and Stephen Gamboa. Michael Becker also co-authored "Igniting a Revolution" and I’ll have him on the show later this summer. "Testify: Eco Defense and the Politics of Violence" is about an hour long and well fucking worth it.

The film introduces the political and spiritual forces that drive revolutionary environmentalism. Interviews with leading advocates for animal liberation and direct-action environmentalism are mixed with footage of direct-action attacks. The film includes disturbing footage of animal abuse in slaughterhouses, laboratories and circuses.

A 50-minute video that discusses the tactics and philosophy of revolutionary environmentalism and animal liberation. Includes footage of ALF and ELF actions plus interviews with many direct-action environmentalists. The video is divided into 8 chapters for use in presentations and classroom discussions. The producers invite you to "steal" this film.

This is a .rar file which when uncompressed contains a .VOB (DVD video) file, two .IFO Files and two .BUP files (which help the DVD player recognize the DVD as a DVD and organize the files accordingly). The purpose of uploading it .VOB is that it's already in the proper format to be burned to a blank DVD-R, assuming the person knows the basic settings required, like NTSC format in North America etc and has the proper software and hardware to burn a DVD.

The .VOB file can be played using VLC media player, or can be converted to .avi, .wmv or .mpg using WinAvi, and both of those programs are available for download on the piratebay.org, and are both very small programs (a few megabytes each). I'll be happy to assist anyone who needs it. The simplest solution if you can't play the .VOB file is to just get VLC media player. It's freeware and available here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Instructions for decompressing .rar file:

1. Acquire the program Winrar for free online if you don't already have it
2. Open the .rar file you just downloaded; DVD_01_1.rar
3. Follow the instructions on the screen

When done, unless you specified otherwise, the new decompressed file should show up in the same folder that your uncompressed .rar file is in.

*Note: When burning .VOB files to DVD, don't add the main folder to the list of items to be burned. Instead, open the folder and select all of its contents and add those to the list of items to be burned. If you add the whole folder it will make it impossible for the video to autostart when inserted into a DVD player.
