Is the "ItzikGur" version the basis of this?
I got a quit LQ version from Demonoid (with improper frame cropping too, black bars on top and bottom), and an Italian language version which was slightly better in quality. To watch, I played them simultaneously (to get Hebrew Audio and English subtitles).
BTW I noticed that they cut that porn scene from the Italian version, probably concerned about their review in the Osservatore Romano

Awesome, I wasn't aware that the DVD was out already. I'm gonna get this version then, just for the archives
And I wasn't talking about the blue lady -- i meant the scene in the Lebanese Villa, what the Israeli Officer watches on TV. Not that it matters, but it was kinda funny to see that the Italian version was missing it

The DVD has been officially released in Israel, with only Hebrew subtitles. I assume that's the video source for this. Only a matter of time before a full DVDR rip surfaces with English subtitles. I'm waiting for that.

Because I can wait for quality. I'm sure this is a nice rip. But it's 696MB, and obviously has a low video bitrate. To some people, they prefer compressed videos with smaller file sizes. Some people cannot tell the difference between a 700MB avi file and a 20GB HD blu-ray rip. I am not one of those people. I am patient and can wait for quality. To each his own. Thanks for sharing though.

I don't think we're ever going to see a larger rip or a full iso image of this. Even for more popular stuff, those seem to be rare.

My only response is that this is relatively simple animation, and as such does not require huge ammounts of Mb/Gb to be beautiful.

I was more than pleased when I received this, and there are many happy "customers" still enjoying it.

For information - the English language version should be available around March, or pre-release. If at all.
However I fear much is lost in translation.

Hey! I tried to open the subtitles on VLC but it did not work. I really do not know why. This is actually first time I try to use subtitle file. How does it work? I can not turn it on simultaneously with the film.

Open the video file in VLC, then go to the menu Video > Subtitles Track and either select Track 1, or hit "Load File" and select the .srt file that comes with the torrent.
