General Idi Amin Dada - A self portrait (1975, Barbet Schroeder)

Self-portrayal of the Uganda's 1971-1979 ruler. Idi Amin was part of the 70s' axis of evil: He was trained by the Israelis but later changed sides to befriend Arab nations because of the Palestinian issue. He socialized with AoE leaders like Castro and Kadhaffi. The documentary was created by a French crew, with the full cooperation of the general, and consequently doesn't have any of the rape-murder-cannibal-ChoppedHeadsInFridge type of thing.
