¡No Pasaran! Antifascist Songs from the Spanish Civil War

This is a collection of the most famous songs from the Spanish Civil War. The Catalan Singer & Songwriter Quico Pi de la Serra rearranged these songs in 1997 and recorded them with Jazz singer Carme Canela and the musicians Jordi Riera, Llorenç Ametller, Quim Solé i Pep Torres. Also Joan Manuel Serrat has an appearance as guest.
This is the outcome of a project from Pere Camps who as a director devised a Stage Play / Musical Revue on the base of these songs. The sound and quality of this project are superb. It's like revolutonary songs jazzed up.
