Taxi to the Dark Side is a 2007 documentary film directed by American filmmaker Alex Gibney, and produced by Eva Orner and Susannah Shipman, which won the 2007 Academy Award for Documentary Feature. The film focuses on the murder in custody of an Afghan taxi driver named Dilawar. Dilawar was beaten to death by American soldiers while being held in extrajudicial detention at the Bagram Air Base. Taxi to the Dark Side also goes on to examine America's policy on torture and interrogation in general, specifically the CIA's use of torture and their research into sensory deprivation. There is description of the opposition to the use of torture from its political and military opponents, as well as the defence of such methods; the attempts by Congress to uphold the standards of the Geneva Convention forbidding torture; and the popularisation of the use of torture techniques in shows such as 24. The film is said to be the first film to contain images taken within Bagram Air Base.

agreed that it is a re-post but it's a good docu none the less.

It's a great documentary, along with 'why we fight', 'Iraq for sale' 'hijacking catastrophe' and 'no end in sight'.

However if we continuously split swarms, the torrents die, leaving only numerous versions of the same file with little to no seeds.

That said, it is not my decision to make. I am simply a very contented contributor/user.
I was merely questioning site protocol.

thanks

@god: You're right of course, splitting swarms should be avoided, but this is a flaw inherent to the BT protocol. If identical torrents are posted within a week or so, we will act. Anything else feels a bit like fighting windmills to me. Things would probably be different if this were a private tracker.

Site rules are quite clear on this: there shall be no bowing Smile

I doubt I know much more than you do about this. And it's perfectly debatable whether it's smart not to go after duplicate torrents more rigorously. Site policy isn't chiseled in stone either..
