Excellent! I love hearing Chomsky when people attempt to drive "hardball" questions at him. He never loses composure, and seems to gain poise and vocabulary with every sentence. And a seemingly unending knowledge of specific citations, clearly without the need for crib notes. I wish we could have heard the whole interview.

jD_Empath: the poor editing of the stream by the BBC makes it sound like more has been cut than really has - all that is lost is the interviewer's introduction and a couple of seconds at the end. Right after Chomsky's comment on librarian's destroying records rather than give them to the authorities, the broadcast interview ended.
