This phosphorus story is a distraction from the main crime, that the US formed a 'ring of steel' around Fallujah to contain all men of fighting age (many women and children stayed with their husbands). The US then flattened the city with heavy bombing including thermobaric weapons. The civilian death toll was horrendous. Apparently, Al Qaeda has already left - none were found.
