Mickey Huff is a California-based Professor of History at Diablo Valley College, a Lecturer in Sociology at Sonoma State University, and an Instructor of Critical Thinking and Media Studies at Berkeley City College.

He's also Associate Director of Project Censored (PC), the media democracy advocacy group. It researches and publishes vital news stories that are "underreported, ignored, misrepresented, or censored by the US corporate media."

Each year, it ranks the top 25 and publishes them in its yearbook, "Censored: Media Democracy in Action." The latest "Censored 2009: The top Censored Stories of 2007 - 2008" is now available for purchase online at projectcensored.org/store.

The global economic crisis and other major issues will be discussed.

Tuesday, April 21st

Danny Schechter is a media activist, critic, independent filmmaker, TV producer as well as an author and lecturer on media issues. Some call him "The News Dissector," and that's the name of his popular blog on media issues. He's also co-founder of Media Channel.org. It covers "political, cultural and social impacts of the media" and provides real information unavailable in the mainstream.

Schechter's new book is titled Plunder: Investigating Our Economic Calamity and the Subprime Scandal.

The global economic crisis and other major issues will be discussed.

Wednesday, April 22nd

Robert Parry is an award-winning investigative journalist who gained prominence by breaking the Iran - Contra scandal, the October surprise, and other major stories while at AP and Newsweek - the type work these organizations and other mainstream ones no longer do.

In 1995, he established Consortiumnntp://news.com to continue his investigative work online.

His books include Lost History: Contras, Cocaine, the Press & Project Truth, Secrecy & Privilege: Rise of the Bush Dynasty from Watergate to Iraq, and (co-authored with his two sons, Sam and Nat) Neck Deep: The Disastrous Presidency of George W. Bush - under whom the American republic was lost.

Major world and national topics will be discussed.

Thursday, April 23rd

Jennifer Synan is the wife of Daniel McGowan, an "eco-terrorism" victim of injustice, now serving a seven year sentence in federal prison for his environmental activism in the Pacific Northwest.

So-called "green scare" and Daniel's case will be discussed.

Friday is a ;;rebroadcasting.
