I can do that one and part three as well. Part one starts with the French invading the Indians. Making of Milwaukee covers the whole history of the city. I've had a request to focus on the development of the Socialist government and so selected out the 2nd of 3 dvds all of which are about 2 hours in length.
The third in the series shows how socialism came, went and returned in Milwaukee with last last socialist mayor in 1960.
At the making of Milwaukee website, a complete set of teaching materials to accompany the video for classroom use are available.
Unfortunately I never knew much about this history of my own state til recently.
I can put up the rest in a few days. I'm getting a seed or two of this dvd now.

Three seeds on this now. Things are looking up. The next piece I would do is part three. Please post opinion when you see the item listed here.
How can it be of use where you are? Will anyone get the study materials?
The reason I got interest in this is the retro future or what James Howard Kunstler calls "The Long Emergency" during diminishing oil supplies.
"Machine Shop To The World" which is in this piece shows how local industry prospered before the expansion of the 20th Century.
Port cities like Milwaukee and even river towns such as where I live north of Milwaukee present ways of transport and hydro power less dependent on the auto.

I was also influenced in supplying the torrent from the subject of the link below.
After it's broadcast I was hoping that someone would have torrented it but nothing so far.

Whenever I have something hard to find or am just not monitoring everything I use the search program called Bit Che. Very helpful:

I'm doing the conversion of Part Three of Making of Milwaukee today after retrieving it from the library again.
BTW, for peeps who don't do transcoding regularly, I use the program called DVDFab and it's a one button operation. Many of these things can be retrieved from libraries that renew their acquisitions frequently.
Another one I found of great interest was a piece called "Fly Girls." It was about the Women's Air Corps in World War II which largelwent unheralded or recognized for their accomplishments, service and sacrifice as well.

For hardcore Milwaukee fans I have added Making Of Milwaukee disk one at demonoid as
Making of Milwaukee (disc 3) DVDrip ENG.avi
Under TV > documentary.
MOM2 has 55 completions showing in Vuxe and
MOM3 has 46 completions showing even though only one shows here.
Like the rest of the series, the presentation is non-judgemental even with Milwaukee's Trail of Tears and other atrocities.
On the positive side, I live 15 miles from Freedom, WI. Freedom was named during the underground railroad period which sheltered escaped slaves. Abolitionists were strong in Wisconsin.
