Report Abuse/InfringementAnother great documentary by Adam Curtis. This documentary as much of which I have seen focuses on the psychology of control. How peoples memory and behaviors can and cant be crafted towards the will of others. Very interesting.

I don't think M4V is a terribly uncommon file format. Are you not familiar with the VLC media player? It is a free video player program that is by far the most cross compatible media player I've ever had. It's virtually all one needs to use.
That said I remember seeing this doc a while ago not bad.

I'm anxious to see this. It is the missing series for me since it is the earliest one.

Yea, I just saw it too the other day, good collection of flix covering WW1 & 2, and Great Britain ...
Just use media player classic or VLC player. It plays just fine in linux too with totem or VLC. If you are still using windows media player you need to move on to something that doesnt spy on you and is limited in so many respects.
& I didnt rip this series, I picked it off btjunkie, but I didnt see it on this site, so I decided to let people who might not have known about the series who frequent this site. Enjoy

ive been downloading and ripping movies for years and have never once seen an m4v ...and vlc is useless for anyone who wants standalone compatibility. ask yourself the question....why? just rip using xvid .

Next question:
Which prog will transcode this to Divx or avi?
Once in AVI, AutoGK can make it smaller.

@ loninappleton etc.
m4v is the same thing as .mp4.

Ok, so rename the files as .mp4 and find a transcode program.
