---------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------

An explanation of the "Crisis" using the 'Austrian Economic Theory of Business Cycles'.

---------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------

“A must-read. Writing with remarkable clarity and occasional mordant humor, Thomas Woods makes a compelling argument for a radical turn to the free market as the only way to prevent meltdowns from recurring.”
-Barron’s

“The hottest book today is Meltdown, by my friend Tom Woods.”
-Judge Andrew Napolitano, senior judicial analyst, FOX News

“Ideas still matter, and sound economic education has rarely been as urgently necessary as it is today.  There is no better book to read on the present crisis than this one, and that is why I am delighted to endorse and introduce it.”
-From the foreword by Ron Paul

With the kudos from Fox News and the forward from Ron Paul, how can I resist...

Actually, with those credentials, it's quite easy to resist!

Is the there any particular reason for this up Godcanjudgeme?

By the way I must recommend:
"Bad Samaritans: The Myth of Free Trade and the Secret History of Capitalism" to anyone interested in real democracy.

@TheTooleMan
indeed, I did offer those reviews deliberately.

@read4liberty
To set the record, I am no believer in Capitalism as a legitimate economic theory. However if we must live within a capitalist system, then let us at least allow the rules of the "Free Market" to control the ebbs and flows of the economies and not the falsely dictated inflationary standards set by an unjust and illegitimate Federal Reserve.
What tickles me most in the entire 'economic crisis' is the blatant denial of the facts by those in high places.
This book, although derived from a capitalist view, manages to lay out quite simply the inherent and DELIBERATE flaws in the monetary system when the much hailed 'Free Markets' are totally ignored and brushed under the carpets.

Call it enemy propaganda - but know your enemy!
