Inside the Wonders of the Muslim World looks into the beliefs and traditions that underpin a religion practised by about one billion people across the world.It introduces viewers to the five basic pillars of Islam: belief in one God with Mohammad as his messenger, prayer, charity, fasting and pilgrimage.As well as looking at the history of Islam, it will take viewers to the Kabba, in Mecca, the most holy site of the Islamic faith, and we will meet Muslims fasting during the month of Ramadan, which celebrates when the Koran was revealed to Mohammad.
