"quality is pretty bad and I accidentally lost power to the camera for like 5 minutes, sorry about that. but what do you expect from a cam"
wouldnt surprise me if its fake, but will try it anyway. This movie is one of the most faked ones...think moore have army of fake uploaders for this one..
Oct 26 2009, 15:42 UTC
Might as well wait for an R5. No action on the street is likely to happen with this one... either.
Oct 26 2009, 17:25 UTC
pls comment asap if this is a fake, so that we can take it down if it is.
Oct 26 2009, 22:08 UTC
REAL deal of course a DVD rip would be better but Michael Moore is a hypocrite when it comes to capitalism of his own capitalization!
Oct 26 2009, 22:18 UTC
it doesn't have the obviously fake dvdrip labeled in it like one or two fakes out there.
Uploader's unknown. Little sketchy. Keep your fingers crossed
Oct 26 2009, 22:19 UTC
here's goes nothin'! i'll post to see if it's the real deal & even worth watching based on the quality.
Oct 27 2009, 00:09 UTC
I think is not fake, but i'm not downloading something that is missing 5 minutes. I rather wait for the dvdrip, screener or R5, what ever comes first.
Oct 27 2009, 01:25 UTC
real all the way and very grass roots
Oct 27 2009, 04:08 UTC
hm it is real?
the download is very slow on my end >:\
Oct 27 2009, 06:00 UTC
It's real! Quality is so-so but watchable.
Oct 27 2009, 15:14 UTC
Oct 28 2009, 04:19 UTC
I am waiting for a quality copy to show up. Someone let me know when one is available.
Oct 28 2009, 05:21 UTC
That will only happen when MM stops being a hypocritical prick and realizes sharing is in his best interests less he is just the puppet of obama as stated in the flic
Oct 28 2009, 07:54 UTC
Diogenes : I'm hesitant to label MM hypocritical in this instance as he in the past has always leaked his movies to the internet before the theatrical release. Their are other players involved with large financial interest and very long reigns on power who may be at work here. Moore has a strong history of sharing, and his masters who funded the creation of this may have put forth very strong safeguards to prevent the internet release of this film. Of course, the fact that he can get these corporate giants to fund this film that ideologically opposes them is really something beautiful, just shows how low these corporations will go for profit, selling out even what they believe.
As for Obama puppet, I haven't seen the flick yet, I may agree with you after I've seen it, don't know now though.
Oct 28 2009, 08:03 UTC
"...I'm sorry I cannot heal your preexisting condition..." (Jesus)
Lolz. The movie is definitely not exactly impartial or precise about its analysis but I don't disagree with the premise. Its unfortunate that the masses have allowed the few to differentiate themselves so. Viva la revolution !!!
Oct 28 2009, 12:26 UTC
THIS SHOULD BE FUCKING REMOVED OBT SHOULD NOT PROMOTE CAMMING...IT GIVES JUSTIFICATION FOR THE DEMONIZATION OF TORRENTS AND THE AVAILABILITY OF FREE MEDIA ONLINE!!! CAMMING IS NOT COOL, ITS STRAIGHT UP WRONG AND IF YOU ARE THAT FUCKING PATHETIC YOU CANT AFFORD THE 5 BUCKS TO GO TO THE THEATRE AND HELP KEEP THEATRES ALIVE ON CHEAP NIGHT, AND PREFER TO WATCH A FIL IN THE HORRID QUALITY OF A CAM YOU SHOULD FUCKING KILL YOURSELF, DO US ALL A FUCKING FAVOUR AND END YOUR PATHETIC LITTLE EXISTENCE RIGHT NOW, MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE...THANKS IN ADVANCE..AS.
Oct 28 2009, 13:19 UTC

Oct 28 2009, 14:13 UTC

Oct 28 2009, 14:14 UTC
hey anarchosyndicate, shut up.
the more we download the sooner hollywood multinational bullshit GOES AWAY.
do you like the current film industry? do you like the current music industry?
i don't & i want to rip them off because they deserve it.
Oct 29 2009, 00:55 UTC
I think this is a great sentimental piece, and I agree that the movie industry is too big, so is the defense, prison, education, health care, govt, ... Imagine what would happen if everyone stopped paying taxes, the government might listen
Pretty soon now its going to be illegal to say stuff like that, if its not already.
Everything in life is a trade off, unfortunately these days and like many others the majority of the people are feeling the negative end of the pole.
Oct 29 2009, 02:20 UTC
Just study your copyright laws with someone like Lawrence Lessig. You will learn about things like fair use. Fair use was applied to air-checking tunes off the radio with a boombox if I recall correctly. Fair use means for personal use not personal gain. Torrents are not sold, they are given away. It is my opinion that the aircheck principle applies.
And copyright used to be 14 years after which the content was open. Now it's 96 or perhaps more if Disney has say about it. It has nothing to do with punishing Hollywood.
Lessig explains it all for you.
Oct 29 2009, 02:45 UTC
This is the real deal.
& the quality & audio are decent BECAUSE it's a documentary.
Oct 29 2009, 03:21 UTC
And what about the missing 5 mins?
Oct 29 2009, 04:08 UTC
I haven't seen this film, so I won't go so far as to label it enemy propaganda. However it should be noted that the face of capitalism is a handsome family man who is charismatic, likable, dresses well, has a degree from harvard, and gives great speeches -- and of course the spokesman for anti-capital is fat, ugly, talks with a terrible drawl, is awful at giving public speeches (ive seen em), is overly confrontational in interviews, dresses like a slob, has no serious academic credentials that im aware of, so uncharismatic he is almost annoying, whiny, and screws up real communist thought (typically, havent seen this film), and never, ever motivates anyone to take any action other than buying a movie ticket.
So to answer the question, "how on earth does he get movie studios to fund this?" I propose a simple answer, if you are going to have political opposition, and you have the power, you might as well pick the public face of that opposition to be the most likely to be ineffectual. So for a population as superficial and so deeply ingrained with the Madison Ave value system, who better for them to ignore?
So you know what, even though I haven't seen this film, it's enemy propaganda. The most insidious kind.
Oct 29 2009, 05:56 UTC
Those [attacking Moore] are doing worse than namecalling. By refusing to engage the substance of the film, they're conceding that he may be right.
Maybe watch the fuckin' thing---then you're at least allowed to be so bold as to call it 'enemy propaganda of the most insidious kind.'
Oct 29 2009, 06:32 UTC
as for the missing 5 minutes, yeah it's right in the middle, i wouldn't worry too much about it, as far as it seemed, you can clearly WATCH the movie without it.
but for hardcore people i guess they could wait for a full version---it's just 5 min maybe less really.
Oct 29 2009, 06:35 UTC
Dear Benjamin Laird:
My comment was NOT an ad-hominem attack, and as I stated, I didn't watch and don't care what the movie is about.
I'm simply pointing out that he is given access to the means of production, by those who own the means of production, to undermine the unconscious perception of the left in the mind of the slave population.
I don't discuss whether Moore believes what he says, I'm sure he does, and I don't doubt his motives or points. I am only looking at the practical effect of his work, which is inadvertently undermining the cause of social and economic justice.
Oct 29 2009, 07:51 UTC
For example, to illustrate.
I point out that he always is prominently displayed in the films? Don't most documentary film makers show a topic, have a narrator or personality to guide? Especially when they are obese, lack decent vocal cadence, and are generally annoying, and don't they at least put on a decent set of clothes? Yes of course they do those things.
So why do we see his ugly mug all day every day in his movies?
Yes, it's tragic we are all so fickle, but we're fucking primates man! -- what do you expect.
Oct 29 2009, 08:01 UTC
This reminds me of an old National Lampoon with the Pharasees questioning Jesus with the line, "So vere did _you_ go to kolitch?"
We live in the age of accreditation vs education. Pointing to someone's lack of bona fides from academia shows your bias. It's that simple. Higher education is one of those things white people like, nay, can't live without.
Vere did Saul Alinsky go to kolitch?
Oct 29 2009, 15:16 UTC
would never ever watch a cam, cams are just pathetic, are you so poor? are you so cheap? you talk shit about an industry of which you are so desperate to consume their products, that you will watch a version someone has video-cammed missing 5 mins
Oct 29 2009, 15:17 UTC
you my friend are a pathetic peon douche. do you realize how much films cost to produce? they are entitled to some form of monetary appropriation, they and the local theatre owners. oh, not to mention us torrent free media loving individuals, as everyone on here is. because with stupid unnecessary ludicrous bullshit like this, gives them a justified beef, that may just one day end what we have here. think im making shit up? take a look whats going on in england right now, targeted heavy downloaders are getting capped, speeds limited, and some getting BANNED FROM SERVICES. you are ignorant, including martin.
Oct 29 2009, 15:20 UTC
as soon as it comes out in the public realm i have sero problem, and music isnt nearly as costly to produce, and musicians see little of that money anyways, film industry is different as they put large amounts of money towards the films (and advertising of course)...if you ever watch a movie, FUCKING EVER, and enjoyed it, be realisitc and work with the people that are making an effort to actually produce something, not just you sitting at hom on your ass on your computer downloading stuff. i dont see why this is so hard to recognize, very dissappointed by a sight where i thought people possessed logic and principles. i am a ripper and an uploader, so you idiots arent in any position to talk any shit to me. you are just ignorant, straight up. thanks.peace. enjoy your kife.
Oct 29 2009, 15:25 UTC
yea my grammar and spelling are shit, ill point that out !
Oct 29 2009, 15:26 UTC
ugh... Watch the movie before you start crapping in this thread. Its not perfect, and enemy propaganda theories aside its not that bad either.
Oct 29 2009, 16:33 UTC
Thanks, finally downloaded. It's what you'd expect for a cam version, and Michael Moore. Half entertainment, half pissing security guards off. He actually brought up quite a bit of disturbing stuff I had not known or heard of before. Unfrtunately nuttin' really surprising. Hell, if the gov't and banks can get away with that stuff what's the big deal with downloading this 4 weeks after its release?
Oct 29 2009, 21:04 UTC
yeah the two people angry about 'downloading a cam' or angry 'because it's a michael moore movie' should maybe check it out, then they can start the bitching.
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WATCH/DOWNLOAD THIS & ARE NOT GOING TO COMMENT ON IT'S CONTENT OR ON THE QUALITY OF THE CAM ETC; GO AWAY!
Oct 29 2009, 23:18 UTC
I can get this from www.zip.ca for $3 when it goes to DVD.
Nov 06 2009, 00:19 UTC
I have a question for those anti-download advocators: If you really hate all of these stuffs, why did you guys come here and even fucking register an ID?
