The 2006 Dublin riots are a series of riots which began as a contentious Love Ulster demonstration, scheduled to begin in Dublin, Ireland, on 25 February 2006, when members of An Garda S?ch?a, the police force of the Republic of Ireland, attempted to disperse a group of Irish Republican counter-demonstrators who were blocking the route of the proposed march on O'Connell Street.
