Clip from BBC Newsnight. Greg Palast has a holiday in Venezuala and discusses Chavez in a non-propagandist manner. Oil prices feature, as does George. Rip from realvideo stream. Reasonable video and audio. I can't play this on my Linux realplayer although plays OK on Linux mplayer. Should play OK with realplayer on Windows, post a comment if problems.

I almost fell off my chair (well sofa really) when I saw Greg on BBC. Good section and interview, and for once Chavez isn't portrayed as a dictatorial madman. They took care of that in later segments though, so no big change in the BBC really. Apparently the oil companies are suing Venezuela now because they lost two oil-fields as Chavez nationalized them. Go Chavistas!

A torrent to the outrageous UK Channel 4 News piece of propaganda against Chavez was posted here recently (http://www.channel4.com/news/special-reports/special-reports-storypage.jsp?id=2046).

Medialens and John Pilger jumped on it straight away:

Thanks, I really liked this piece. Can you post the one on Evo Morales as well?

I'll post the week's series of Latin America clips after the last programme, tonight.
