512x288 avi which attempts to duplicate the flv file available for viewing at http://video.pbs.org/video/1456944662 A lot of good stuff in this: the "America .. greatest purveyor of violence" speech, how he was despised by all major media and much of the (even the African-American) public after that speech, how his next sermon after Memphis was to be "Is America Going to Hell?", reasons for assassination, contrast with Obama's war policy, and more. Here are the official specs from the PBS website: ***** Program: Tavis Smiley Episode: MLK: A Call to Conscience The second episode of Tavis Smiley Reports examines Martin Luther King, Jr.'s stand against the Vietnam War and the influence of his legacy today. Tavis speaks with scholars and friends of King, including Cornel West, Vincent Harding and Susannah Heschel. *****

as an intro to this, people may want to watch the Amy Goodman interview with Tavis Smiley:

This was quite good.. thanks for uploading this here. I would have missed it otherwise.

Even better is Dr. King's incredible speech that this program is about. I highly recommend everyone listen to MLK's speech in its entirety and read the transcript of the speech. It is really a brilliant, searing, prophetic speech that is just as relevant today as it was when he gave it on April 4, 1967. Here are the links:
