Howard Zinn: illustrated People's History of American Empire
------------------------------------------------------------------------
With Howard Zinn and others is going a generation that saw the days of fascism and the rise of corporatism. I hope our generation take from this raw individuals as much wisdom as they can. I cant find words to explain the lost of Howard for the world but I think he also left us soo much, that we can look with hope in the future, as howard did it always and would have expected from us.

Just about everybody on 43.x % so far, plus the original seeder on 100. Reckon it will be a lot quicker once a few people get it to 100.

I think that must be pretty old. Mininova now only tracks approved material meaning they likely had some MPAA hassles.
Btjunkie (with the unfortunate name) is a trusted site and they hold material for a long time. Pirate Bay I've just had a difficult time using and so avoid it.
Lots of other current ones like Sumotorrents etc that pop up whenever you do a search have warez and such and seem to be under constant attack.
The BitChe program by convivea.com is a search program which is free. It has all the major trackers on it except Pirate Bay. It's a good tool and I have not seen any like it elsewhere. But it doesn't have everything-- like OneBigTorrent for instance.
If there's a more complete search engine than BitChe specifically for torrents, I don't know it.
Elsewhere a friend found this interesting tool with the unusual name of Glasnost:

I like Isohunt a lot tbh. I think it's basically a search engine that goes through the material on other torrent sites. So it's a good place to start.
Search function is pretty crap though. Almost no matter what I get many hits. Doesn't look like it bothers with quotation marks in the search string. Randomly searching for a movie, I got more hits when I used quotations than without.
But it's a great site. You get info on seeders, description of torrent, files in it, votes and comments. Very good. Wouldn't mind a similar setup here tbh - just with comments tied to a forum instead so it's easier to follow.
