ROBERT NEWMAN - FROM CALIBAN TO THE TALIBAN (500 YEARS OF HUMANITARIAN INTERVENTION) Full 90 minute stand up performance captured live at the Pavilion Theatre, Brighton in 2004. This is the story of a 500 year global terror campaign waged with goodwill to all. It starts with a 1609 Bermuda shipwreck and takes us via the Berlin - Baghdad railway, Sandinista guerrillas and Dr Watson in northwest Kandahar to the USA's good works in Vietnam, Guatemala, El Salvador, Cambodia and Chile. The story's happy ending is how Britain's philanthropic mission to Iraq has made the world safe for democracy and given us all that optimism about the future we all enjoy so much today.

Nice one. Robert Newman does a brilliant act that blends humour, a rare case of honesty with history and politics. Recommended for everyone. Cheers!

this was the slowest torrent seed ever Smile but the video was quite funny and interesting, i liked it. i hadn't heard of newman before. i need to do more reading about the northern italy in ww2 stuff. despite being a ww2 buff, i hear and have heard very little about this.
